特异性	The presence of genomic DNA did not affect the overall assay performance at either amount tested (10 and 1 ng/reaction). However, 10 ng of HEK293 or CHO gDNA per reaction caused a downward shift in Cq values, with an average decrease of 0.67 cycles for HEK293 gDNA and 0.51 cycles for CHO gDNA. No such shift was observed for 1 ng gDNA per reaction.

Introduction

RayBio® E. coli Residual DNA Quantification Kit is a ready to use real-time PCR assay for the rapid and reliable detection of E. coli genomic DNA in biomanufacturing products. This assay is highly sensitive (≤ 5 pg/mL), resistant to DNA fragmentation, and specific to E. coli, with no cross-reactivity to unrelated DNA products. An internal positive control, RNase P, is also detected in each reaction to monitor impact of potential PCR inhibitors.

Storage/Stability

The kit can be stored at -20°C for a period of 12 months prior to opening. After opening, the reagents are valid for at least 6 months if stored at -20°C (not exceeding 12 months since date of manufacture).
